Holian Industries required an umbrella website that encapsulated their family of environmental and ecological-centered companies. They requested a modern website design that showcased the work they’ve accomplished over their 40 year history, while also paying homage to the original founder. In addition, we created a password-protected employee portal so employees could conveniently submit their weekly time sheets to payroll.

People in Tech had long been writing compelling PR Tech related articles and sharing them via email. To necessitate and further prompt the discussion that was happening outside of the simple email list where these articles began, they decided to put in place a blog built on the powerful, flexible and intuitive WordPress platform, complete with a clean and easy to read custom theme we designed for them. The interviews and all the thoughts they bring forth in the industry now live in an easily searchable, easily accessible online space.

A budding neighborhood tanning and beauty spa in Park Ridge, Illinois, the redesign of XO Glow’s website needed to match the classically beautiful interior of their spa versus the trendy white and minimal spa décor. A trip to the spa set in motion the use of the time-honored Greek key pattern, feminine flourishes and deep, soothing colors. We set them up on WordPress to ensure they could easily update their ever-growing Testimonial and Services section.

The Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple’s main mission is to promote peace of mind and an ethical way of life based on Buddhist principles. We built the temple’s website on the WordPress platform, which allows the temple members the ability to update news, events and make important announcements quickly and easily as the organization continues to grow and engage existing and new members. The design encompasses the soothing nature of the temple and its spiritual teachers, while maintaining an informative and visceral layout for the thousands of visitors the website draws monthly.

The Georgetown Ministry Center provides lasting, life-enriching services to the homeless population of the Georgetown area in Washington, DC. It was imperative that information could be found easily and quickly on their new site as they made previous changes internally to go almost completely paperless. The site design centers around the heart of the organization’s mission to provide warmth, courage, safety and cleanliness to their clients. News and events are kept up-to-date by the GMC staff by using the easy, yet powerful WordPress interface.

Curiositrees is a set of meditation cards created by Diana Schuster of EnergyInfusion, and nature photographer, Heather Wolf. The meditation cards are based on trees, so we wanted to instill a tree/nature ambiance to the site, while keeping it whimsical and meditative. The site also possesses direct purchasing capability for the meditation cards. Diana and Heather wanted the ability to stay in touch with visitors and fans of the cards, so we created an email design to capture updates and stories for them to share.

Benjamin and Bibi (also known as 82 Birds :)) married in September 2009. Since we are designers, and like choosing a “green” method if available, we decided to create a website so our guests could RSVP via email, and also consult the website for various bits of information related to our wedding. We really enjoyed invoking our creative and functionality skills into the most special event of our lives. We are happy to know that our guests appreciated the streamlined approach as well. In addition to the website, we designed our wedding invitation to match.
